Leo Quartz

Rhythm Guitar

Pronouns: He/Him | Height: 6' (183 cm)
Date of Birth: August 5th, 1997 | Star Sign: Leo
Sexuality: Pansexual | Taken (Dating River Rockson)

The son of the CEO of the record label that Sunset Flash worked under, pressure was always high for him to be great at everything he was signed onto doing. Whether it was acting, modeling, or handling a relationship with fellow child star Rosanna at his father's command for media attention, Leo felt that he couldn't do anything right. Even as the lead singer for Sunset Flash, he still felt like he was lying to everyone and leading them through nothing but anguish and pain. After Sunset Flash broke up, Leo decided to retire and move out, hiding from the public eye in a small apartment. When River eventually helped him embrace the love for music he still had after everything was said and done, Leo has started the journey of living the life he always wanted and processing what happened. Leo Quartz is a stage name. While Leonard is his legal first name (uses Leo instead), his legal last name is unknown. He's also Austin's childhood friend and was classmates with Porter in middle school.

Tristen DeLuna

Lead Guitar

Pronouns: They/He | Height: 5'4 (163 cm)
Date of Birth: January 15th, 1998 | Star Sign: Capricorn
Sexuality: Pansexual | Single

Tristen never really felt like they fit in anywhere but in the world of rock music. They were basically raised by their older brother, Terrence, who is 12 years older than Tristen, and is the lead guitarist of a very successful punk band. They learned guitar from Terrence, and learned many life skills from Terrence's band. When initially asked to join Sunset Flash, Tristen was hesitant due to seeing boy bands as the opposite of the punk rock he was used to. They eventually agreed due to the sense of brotherhood they thought would form from it, hoping it would itch their scratch to finally belong somewhere. Their other interests include frogs and skateboarding. He also has an older sister, Tessa, who is 14 years older than him. They're childhood friends with Austin, and they have a pain tolerance that's so high that plenty of people have told them it concerns them. They also have an extremely hard time showing their true negative feelings whenever they have them.

Austin York

Bass | Voice Provider: Nova Snowen

Pronouns: He/Him | Height: 5'7 (170 cm)
Date of Birth: September 21st, 1997 | Star Sign: Virgo
Sexuality: Gay | Single

Used to being dragged along for the ride whenever Leo had a new idea when they were kids, Austin has never really been the leader type. He was known as "the shy one" in Sunset Flash, but part of that was due to how much he had been suffering through up to that point and through his whole life. He tries to act cool on stage, but he's not very good at hiding his anxiety. He has a younger sister named Callie (also voiced by Nova Snowen), who is an indie musician. Even though he felt miserable as a member of Sunset Flash, Austin started experiencing even more intense depression after their breakup, with his sister living on the other side of the country and no one else to feel comfortable around due to him pushing them away. Joining Future Sun had given Austin an opportunity to remember why he should keep living. He's childhood friends with both Leo and Tristen.

Porter Davis

Drums

Pronouns: He/Him | Height: 6'1 (185 cm)
Date of Birth: October 25th, 1997 | Star Sign: Scorpio
Sexuality: Biromantic Asexual | Taken

Porter was originally born in London before growing up in Bristol in England and eventually moving to the US when he was 10. The son of two corporate attorneys, a British mother and an American father who regularly ended up in shouting matches and only agreed on things when they were either for work or to argue with Porter, he had a rough childhood. The constant bullying for his accent and being short (he was a late bloomer) definitely didn't help, either. When Leo transferred to the same school as Porter and was able to get people to bully Porter less, he built up a sense of loyalty to Leo. He wanted to be a part of a band to feel like he was wanted somewhere, but his parents didn't approve. He wanted to do anything he could to avoid going to law school and becoming an attorney like his parents wanted, so when he was given the opportunity to join Sunset Flash, he signed the contract without even reading it. For a long time, Porter has had many road bumps on the way to understanding what love was supposed to feel like, especially since he was forced to put on a super serious persona for Sunset Flash, making everyone think he was intimidating and cold (he wasn't even allowed to speak with his natural British accent, instead having to use an American one), but he's embracing that despite hardships, he can and will persevere while trying to heal his inner child. He has two girlfriends: Rosanna (Leo's ex-girlfriend) and Keisha, an sound engineer/ producer. The three of them live in an apartment together with their cat, Mocha.

River Rockson

Keytar

Pronouns: He/They | Height: 5'11 (181 cm)
Date of Birth: February 14th, 1997 | Star Sign: Aquarius
Sexuality: Gay | Taken (Dating Leo Quartz)

The eldest son of two very rich and famous artists, River felt lonely for most of his life. Despite getting along with the kids of his parents' friends in their group of homeschooled kids, he never really felt like he was genuinely friends with them. He also ended up raising his younger twin siblings, Opal and Jasper, since their parents were always traveling for work. They started playing piano by taking private lessons from a famous pianist since he was 3 years old, and he joined Sunset Flash because he wanted to help Leo despite not knowing who he was at the time. River also has an eye for fashion and is a bit of a gym rat.
